Susanne Ohrling

Susanne Ohrling. Ms. Ohrling MPolSc, a political scientist by training, is since the end of 2007 a Senior Policy Adviser at the Swedish Red Cross, Dep. of Health and Social Welfare. She has previously co-authored a book Together about elderly as an important resource. Prior she was a Public Health Planning Office, General Director’s Office at the National Institute of Public Health in Sweden. She was also a vice President in the International association of Health Policy in Europe. She was a Secretary to the Swedish National Committee for Public Health and Co-authored the green paper on health goals for Sweden: Health on Equal Terms – National Goals for Public Health. She also authored two scientific reports for the Committee, Immigrants´ Health and different authorities´ Responsibilities in the Field of public Health – An Analysis. At the Gerontology Research Center she conducted a national survey on dementia and at the National audit Office she conducted an audit on the Swedish Drug Control.
